Pennisetum alopecuroides (Chinese Fountain Grass) seeds
Pennisetum are one of the most popular ornamental grasses as they are easy to grow and maintain and have a long season of interest.
Chinese Fountain Grass is a highly decorative ornamental grass with showy, arching, pink flower plumes which appear in late summer and last well into winter. Brilliant for flower arrangements either fresh or dried. The fresh green foliage turns lovely shades of yellow, amber and bronze in autumn. A versatile plant, it will be happy in the border, in containers and even at pond margins. Mass plantings look amazing and for smaller gardens, a single specimen plant is equally striking.
