GROWING GUIDE

Sowing Instructions: Sow at any time of the year. Sow in small pots or a tray on the surface of moist seed compost mixed 50:50 with vermiculite. Do not cover the seed. Seal pots in a polythene bag and place in a propagator or other warm place (eg. on a windowsill above a radiator). Maintain an optimum temperature of 30C during the day and 20C at night. Germination can be erratic but should take place in 1-3 months.

Growing Instructions: As the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the propagator vents or the polythene bag. Grow the seedlings on, re-potting as necessary. Grow in a sunny, sheltered position. Move to a frost free place over winter or grow as a houseplant. Feed monthly with a general purpose plant food during spring & summer.
