GROWING GUIDE
Sowing Instructions: Can be sown at any time of year. Sow 5mm deep in moist (not wet), free-draining seed compost in pots or trays and cover with vermiculite. Seal inside a polythene bag or place in a propagator. Maintain at a temperature of 18 to 20C and germination should take place in 2 to 3 weeks. After germination, open the bag or propagator vents and reduce the temperature to about 15 to 18C.
Growing Instructions: Grow on until established then pot up into 9cm pots. Plant out in containers in late spring after all risk of frost has passed. Overwinter as necessary in a frost-free greenhouse or other cool place. Plants can be cut right down to around 30 – 40cm – this helps to prevent them getting too woody and they will sprout up again the following spring.
Caution: All plant parts very toxic if eaten.
