Highly ornate plant with heart-shaped foliage from which rise stems topped with very decorative steel-blue cones surrounded by a collar of spiky, scalloped leaves. Comes into its own at dusk when these amazing flower heads take on a ghostly, silvery-white hue! Brilliant for adding texture and contrast to the border and makes an excellent dried flower.

GROWING GUIDE
Sowing Instructions: Sow at any time of year except early-mid summer. Sow onto the surface of moist, free draining seed compost and just cover with vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place and maintain a temperature of 15-18C for 3 weeks, then move to the refrigerator (3-5C) for 5 weeks. After this, place in propagator again at 15-18C where germination should occur in 6-10 weeks. If it doesn’t, return to the refrigerator for a further 3-6 weeks. Check regularly whilst in the refrigerator and remove immediately if any have germinated.
Growing Instructions: When seedlings are large enough to handle, pot up individually into 7.5cm pots and grow on in a coldframe and plant out 30cm apart the following spring.

Due to phytosanitary regulations we are unable to send seeds outside the UK. If a mail forwarding service in the UK is used to send your order abroad, please be aware that we will not take responsibility for orders confiscated by customs.
If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.

All our seed packaging and most of our postal packaging is paper based and can be recycled.
