GROWING GUIDE

Pre-sowing Treatment: Soak the seeds in tepid water for 24 hours or until the seeds start to swell.

Sowing Instructions: Sow at any time of the year. Sow in trays or pots on the surface of a good quality seed compost and lightly sprinkle with sieved compost or vermiculite/perlite. Place in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and maintain an optimum temperature of 18-21C. Germination will take place in 30-60 days. When the seedlings begin to germinate, open the bag or propagator vents and grow on until they are large enough to handle and can be potted on. Reseal the bag or close the vents until more seedlings emerge.

Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots and grow on in cooler conditions, about 15C, repotting as necessary. Overwinter the young plants at a temperature of about 5C for the first winter.  When large enough, plant out in a sunny spot.

If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges).  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.
