Colourful mix of dwarf Lupins growing to just 50cm tall.  Ideal for the front of borders or in a cottage garden, these sturdy little plants do not need staking and will also do well in containers.  Very easy to grow from seed and may flower the first year from an early sowing.

GROWING GUIDE

Pre-Sowing Treatment: Soak seeds in hand hot water for several hours until they start to swell.

Sowing Instructions: Sow at any time of the year except early to mid summer. Sow 3mm deep in a moist, well-drained, seed compost in pots or trays. Seal in a polythene bag or place in a propagator and maintain an optimum temperature of 18-21C. Germination should occur after 15-60 days. As the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.

Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 9cm pots. Grow on in cooler conditions (about 15C) with plenty of light, but shaded from direct sun and overwinter, if necessary, at about 5C. When established, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and grow on until mature enough to be planted out in the garden in a sunny or semi shaded position.

Caution: Harmful if eaten.  Note: If seeds are a red or blue-green colour, they are filmcoated to protect against disease.  Wash hands after handling.

Due to phytosanitary regulations we are unable to send seeds outside the UK.  If a mail forwarding service in the UK is used to send your order abroad, please be aware that we will not take responsibility for orders confiscated by customs.

          
 

If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges).  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.
