Height: 60cm
Position: Sun or semi shade in well drained soil

GROWING GUIDE
Sow at any time of the year except early to mid summer as too much heat may lead to spindly plants.
- Soak seeds for several hours until they start to swell.
- Sow 3mm deep in a moist, well-drained, seed compost in pots or trays.
- Seal in a polythene bag or place in a propagator and maintain an optimum temperature of 18-21C.
- Germination should occur after 15-60 days.
- As the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.
- Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 9cm pots.
- Grow on in cooler conditions (about 15C) with plenty of light, but shaded from direct sun and overwinter, if necessary, at about 5C.
- When established, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions by placing plants outside during the day for 2 weeks before planting out in the garden.
Caution: Harmful if eaten. Note: If seeds are a red or blue-green colour, they are filmcoated to protect against disease. Wash hands after handling.
