Unique, evergreen perennial, usually grown as an annual, with feathery foliage that curls up when touched or shaken and then unfurls again a few moments later.  Pretty, pink, fluffy pom pom like flowers appear all summer.  Easy to grow and always very popular with children.  Will happily grow indoors as a houseplant. GROWING GUIDE

Pre-Sowing Instructions: Soak the seeds in warm water for 2 hours.

Sowing Instructions
: Sow at any time of year. Sow onto the surface of a good free draining damp seed compost. Do not exclude light at any stage as this helps germination. Place in a propagator or warm place and maintain a temperature of 20-25C. Germination should occur in 21-30 days.

Growing Instructions
: When seedlings are large enough to handle, pot up individually into 7.5cm pots and grow on at around 15C. In spring once frosts have finished, harden off the plants (place outdoors during the day and bring them back in at night for 10 days), then plant out in a sunny or semi shaded position. If growing indoors, place in a bright position and give the leaves a regular misting.
