GROWING GUIDE
Sowing Instructions: Can be sown at any time of year except early to mid-summer. Sow on the surface of a moist, well-drained seed compost (eg. John Innes) and do not cover the seed as light is beneficial to germination. Place in a propagator or seal in a polythene bag and maintain a temperature of about 20C. Germination should take from 21-30 days and as the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.
Growing Instructions: Pot up when large enough to handle into 7-9cm pots and grow in cooler conditions in good light, but shaded from direct sunlight. In spring, when all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting out in a sunny position.
