Striking perennial producing spires of pure white flowers with a purple eye over compact mounds of shiny foliage. The flowers are followed by green, pea-like pods. A very interesting addition to any garden.

GROWING GUIDE

Sowing Instructions: Sow at any time of year except early to mid-summer.  Sow on the surface of a moist, free-draining seed compost in a pots or trays and just cover the seed with sieved seed compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal in a polythene bag and place in a greenhouse or windowsill indoors and maintain a temperature of 18 to 21C. Germination should take place in 14-30 days. Maintain a temperature of about 15C after germination and gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.

Growing Instructions: When large enough to handle, pot up individually into 7-9cm pots and grow on in good light, but shaded from direct sunlight. Overwinter if necessary in a frost-free place. When plants are established, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out in late spring or early summer after all risk of frost has passed in a sunny position.

Due to phytosanitary regulations we are unable to send seeds outside the UK.  If a mail forwarding service in the UK is used to send your order abroad, please be aware that we will not take responsibility for orders confiscated by customs.

          
 

If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges).  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.
